About

I am a folk singer, holistic voice & yoga practitioner, trauma informed nature connection facilitator and producer-curator. My work focuses on guiding people toward deeper relationship with self, community and the natural world.

As a holistic practitioner, I weave together learnings from animate earth based spirituality, voice work, tantric, trauma-informed yoga, and practical land skills to help people become more grounded and uncover their authentic voices.

As an experienced producer-curator I develop radical healing spaces which centre community, land and social justice and platform silenced and marginalised voices.

Thank you for visiting my website, if there is anything of interest or you would like to discuss a project, please get in touch.

My Journey to this work

My nomadic and off-grid childhood in Europe and rural Devon inspired the life-long earth-based spirituality and practical land and therapeutic tools which inform much of my work today. Following a life threatening accident as a teenager, I discovered tools from Tantric Yoga which aided my physical, spiritual, and emotional recovery and since completed a year-long training in Krama Vinyasa Tantra at Yoga Sara in Bristol as well as a trauma-informed yoga training through the Yoga Roots project. Inspired by my mothers professional work as a voice and theatre artist I have been using voice and songwriting all my life as a tool for transformation and healing.

During my early twenties I embarked on a year and a half solo journey by bicycle across South America, where I re-discovered the importance of wilderness journeying, outdoor living and community singing for mental, spiritual and physical health. This deepened my curiosity about the links between trauma, embodiment, vocal expression, and our capacity to live authentically. For the past three years I have been immersed in the study of Collaborative Vocal Improvisation, which I believe to be a powerful for fostering confidence, authenticity, self expression and connection.

I have a professional background both as an environmental documentary film-maker and as a nature connection guide / educator for children and young people with complex trauma and additional needs. During the last three years I have also been directing a festival on behalf of The Land-workers Alliance for people to learn about land, farming and social justice.
